These terms govern your use of Save Our Date and the invitation websites we create. By placing an order you agree to them.
What we provide
Save Our Date designs and hosts a personalised invitation website for your event. You are purchasing a customisation and hosting service, not a downloadable file or a licence to resell our designs.
Your website is published at an address of the form yourname.saveourdate.live, chosen at the time of your order and subject to availability.
Placing an order
After payment you will be asked to complete an intake form with your names, event dates, venues, photographs and any other content you would like included. Work begins, and the delivery timeline starts, when that form is submitted complete with photographs — not at the moment of payment. Incomplete submissions will be held until the missing details arrive.
Delivery
Standard delivery times are stated on each package. Where rush delivery is purchased, it means 24 clock-hours from intake submission, weekends included.
Revisions
Each package includes a set number of free revision rounds, stated at the point of purchase. Further revisions are charged at ₹199 each.
Revisions must be requested within 7 days of delivery. After that period the project is considered closed and further changes are treated as new work.
Hosting term
Your website remains online until 15 days after your event, after which it is taken offline. You may extend hosting for ₹499 per year, renewable.
We may migrate your website to a different address where technically necessary, and may retire websites with reasonable advance notice.
Additional languages
Where a second language is purchased, you supply the translated text and we typeset it. We do not translate content ourselves, so that responsibility for the accuracy of names, honorifics and dates on your invitation remains with your family.
Your content
By submitting photographs and text you confirm that you hold the rights to them and have the consent of everyone shown, including any children. You remain the owner of your content. You grant us permission to use it solely to build and host your website.
We retain ownership of our designs, templates and code. Nothing in these terms transfers that ownership to you.
Portfolio use
We may show your website in our portfolio or on social media. If you would prefer we did not, tell us at intake and we will not.
Acceptable use
We may decline or discontinue work on any content that is unlawful, infringing, or that we consider abusive or misleading.
Liability
We take care to deliver accurately and on time, but we cannot accept liability beyond the amount you paid for your order. We are not responsible for interruptions caused by third-party hosting, domain or network providers.
