This policy explains what we collect, why, and what we do with it.
What we collect
From you, when you order: your name, email address, phone number and billing details, together with the event details, text and photographs you submit for your website.
From your guests, if RSVP is included: the name, contact details and responses each guest chooses to submit through your invitation.
How we use it
Order and event details are used to build, deliver and host your website, and to contact you about your order. Guest RSVP responses are collected on your behalf and shared with you. We do not use your data, or your guests’ data, for advertising, and we do not sell it.
Payments
Payments are processed by our payment provider. Card and banking details are handled entirely by them and are never stored on our systems.
Where your data lives
Our store runs on managed hosting; invitation websites are served from a content delivery network. RSVP responses are stored in a spreadsheet shared with you. These providers process data on our behalf under their own security obligations.
Search engines
Invitation websites carry a noindex instruction, so search engines are asked not to list them. This is deliberate: invitations often contain home addresses, phone numbers and the dates a family will be away. Anyone holding the link can still open the page.
How long we keep it
Your website stays online until 15 days after your event, or longer if you extend hosting. We retain the content file used to build your site so that it can be rebuilt if you ask. Order records are kept as long as required for tax and accounting purposes.
Your rights
You may ask us for a copy of the personal data we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Write to saveourdatestudio@gmail.com and we will respond.
